About Radikal Freedom
We can experience a sense of freedom in many ways. Most people understand freedom as being able to do what you want to do when you want to do it. From a Yogic perspective this is simply a gratified ego though. A gratified ego is never a route to real freedom. Real freedom is much much deeper, much more fun and much more awake than just some satisfied neurons, even though satisfied neurons are great, nothing wrong with that, its just not enough. We Tantric Yogis want more, much more!
There are many elements to Radikal Freedom, here are a few tasters.
- The freedom from difficult situations and suffering. This is freedom from.
- The continuous capacity to make clear, informed choices and to act effectively and spontaneously on these. This is freedom to.
- A high level of vast open awareness. This is freedom of being.
- Deep experiential knowledge of who and what we truly are. This is the freedom of core identity.
Radikal Freedom is all of this multi-faceted experience of:
- Freedom from constraint, Freedom to become, Freedom as being and also as knowledge of ones core identity.
This gestalt is a play of inner and outer freedoms celebrating evolved mutuality of wise and loving relationship. Ultimately awakening is a relational event. We are never not in relationship, never not in communciation. Its merely a question of what is the quality, the texture, the dynamic of relationship and communication. As we understand and live this inseparability, we find Radikal Freedom is responsibility.
Radikal Freedom is real responsibility. A healthy ego and clear witness consciousness, cultivated through practice, is the basic foundation that allows full awareness of one’s motivations and patterns. As we see our self-referencing patterns, the ego dance, we slowly become free of it, these patterns dissolve into space.
Wise discrimination arising out of this realisation now leads us to follow those desires and drives that contribute to the greatest evolutionary good.
From here we explore responsibility, making powerful choices to facilitate individual and collective evolution and development, we co-create a world of real freedom and love for all. Lets do it by being it, yes?
Radikal Freedom is the art of realisation and awakening. Radikal Freedom is the skilful integration into everyday life of this non-dual awareness.
This invitation is to find and live as Radikal Freedom with Christopher Gladwell.
