- Highly skilled hands on facilitation rooted in Christopher’s 30 years of personal yoga practice, twenty years of Yoga teaching and extensive teaching of anatomy and physiology. His study of Thai massage, shiatsu, and other bodywork modalities along with study with many eminent teachers from around the world supports this facilitation.
- Intelligent, effective and safe, individualized practices to assist you develop your personal yoga practice at the rate you, your body and your lifestyle allow and need.
- Freedom to become the best you can be.
Bring clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in. Use layers so that you can strip down to lightweight comfortable clothing to move freely. The class is held in a warm room that will support the body heat you will produce.
Don’t eat for two hours prior to class. If you are diabetic follow your doctor’s recommendations. It is best not to drink for fifteen to thirty minutes before practice and not to eat or drink for half an hour afterwards. This allows your digestive system to rest and means you will fully benefit from the practice.
You do not have to be flexible or in good shape to start practising yoga. Practice will help you regain youthfulness, reduce unneeded weight, repair injuries to your body, and improve your balance, flexibility and muscle tone as well as developing peace and focus of mind. You don’t need these things to begin, because these are the things you get through developing a personal yoga practice.
Practice will benefit everyone and can be started at any age from 12 years of age. My oldest student was 89 years old!
Looking forward to working with you.

AdrianOut of the many, many yoga teachers I’ve had, Christopher Gladwell is one of the best. He integrates Neuro Linguistic Programming, Tantrism, psychology, and even zoology into what other people call Ashtanga Vinyasa, but with him, his classes always turns out to be so much more. He is so well-received, perhaps because his enthusiasm and depth of knowledge is not only unique, it’s a kind of genius. Christopher represents to me the way I hope to be teaching my students, in another ten years.
